  I was surprised to find Songbird was located within a log cabin complex but happy that it was far enough away from the main action to feel a little more secluded. While tiny, it had all we needed for our week's stay and we really enjoyed our time there. The airconditioning in the lounge area was especially appreciated on the couple of hot days we had, and we're also VERY grateful for being able to take our dog. Aside from the beautiful bush setting, my favourite thing was its just a short drive into Lakes Entrance (but far enough away to leave the madding crowd behind).
