The Loft

Beautifully furnished waterfront accommodation on the canals in Paynesville. The Loft can accommodate 10 guests and is child friendly with the pool and canal being fully fenced with pool fencing and lockable child gates.

The afternoon sun in the winter warms the outdoor entertaining BBQ deck, whilst the glistening pool is ready for all to cool down in, in the summer months. Perfect for an all seasons family getaway. After mooring your boat on the private jetty, park your car in the garage, you can walk to Restaurants and shops from here, or cruise through the canals to the Paynesville foreshore on your boat, enjoy a Coffee or glass of Wine, explore the Gippsland Lakes, return to your Accommodation for a BBQ, put your feet up and enjoy the serenity!   we stayed four nights and were very happy at the loft. Clean and very well appointed. Spacious - we were a couple and two single adults. We had to replace the battery in the garage door remote. The Shire rubbish bin was extremely smelly nd the recycle bin was already overflowing. the gas wok burner was malfunctioning - these are minor quibbles but feedback nonetheless.

  Great place and staff are great. The upkeep of the property however needs to be lifted to standard. The pool was dirty, Bbq not cleaned, holes on the jetty that needed urgent attention and the gardens were not maintained at all.

  Beautiful spot - lovely house - very, very happy.
  House was very clean - EXCEPT underneath couch and couch cushions downstairs and upstairs (not sure cleaners have ever moved the couch to clean underneath as it was filthy) ... We have 2 kids and things are always being dropped down side of couch or under it, which is the reason we noticed.
  Other than that it was a great weekend away and would happily come back.

  It was a great house for our two families to stay with young children.
  Walking distance to town, we had great weather for a swim in the pool and we enjoyed having the boat on the water.
  However neither of the pool gates would close properly every time. And with a 1.5year old and 2 x 4year olds we had to stress about them getting into the pool or down to the water the whole time. Definitely needs some attention before an accident happens.

  The house was almost perfect. The views from the top balcony or lower deck just superb. The full kitchen facilities and a dining table that could fit 10 guests with out feeling cramped made for great breakfast and dinner meals. Launching our kayaks directly into tge canals and feeling safe on our kayak across to Raymond island. The only negative was the beds were too soft but that's more towards personal preference rather than any fault.

  The Loft is a spacious home with an amazing view . Very practical for a large family. Unfortunately we did struggle with the rubbish not enough outside bins for a large home. Generally the house was very clean but loads of daddy long legs in almost every corner of the inside of the home. Also in the past we have had a mid stay linen change but not this time. We have used Gippsland Escapes for over 13 years. Slightly disappointed especially with the price we paid.

  The Loft accommodated our party of 9 wry comfortably. The pool was a bonus as was the location and views from the lounge and master bedroom.
  The kitchen was well appointed with all that we needed when cooking and the little added touches of welcome were appreciated.
  The only thing to be mindful of is the ability to park more than two cars. Not a huge issue but we did find it tricky when we needed to use a car that was blocked in. Otherwise, everything was good and our week long holiday was relaxing and very enjoyable.

  The Loft suited the 6 of us perfectly with 3 bathrooms and very good bedrooms. The view was excellent sitting on the back porch. We had 3 nights here and totally love it. The Loft is well appointed with everything that made our stay great. The only down side of The Loft I would say it needs a bit of maintenance in a few areas but this did not hinder our stay or effect us in anyway. Totally recommend the Loft to anybody.

  My sister and I took our families up here for a weekend away. In total there was 8 of us.
  A huge kids room had 4 beds down one end of the house and two seperate bedrooms for the parents. A big second lounge room for the kids to play, full of board games and things to keep everyone entertained.
  The place was really clean, lots of thoughtful touches were put in to making it a very comfortable stay. Would definitely come again!
