  our stay at the Getaway was lovely thankyou. At first a few teething problems with getting the fire going but Caroline at the Lakes Escapes was very helpful and sorted it all out straight away. The views of the open expansive water was just magnificent and so relaxing. The house had a lovely holiday feel and was ideal for a small group.

  The stay was fantasic but after 16 years of staying there i feel it time for new linen its been the same doona covers for all this time and they are getting very tired, also the fridge was filthy i had to clean it before using it.

  This house has the most beautiful view and comes with abundant wildlife. We saw koalas kangaroos and more birds than you can imagine. It is peaceful too. The house is simple and comfortable as has a well equipped kitchen and the fresh bread was very welcome.
