  This house was fantastically set up for our 2 families (4 adults, 6 kids and 2 dogs). Plenty of space for the children to play and adults to relax without being on top of each other. The dogs had a great time exploring the enclosed outdoor space

  We loved our stay at Paynesville but because we are older my husband and my mum found the upstairs beds really firm an where up in the middle of the night with bad backs, if think its a personal thing. Overall i would recommend that you definitely book yourself in especially for the fresh loaf of bread and Jam a really nice touch

  Lovely big house perfect for a big family . Nice secure neat garden for furry members of the family .
  Only issue was the main living room and one of the bedrooms was very hot due to no cooling and the living room air con seemed to be not working. Might need serviced. Other than that a very enjoyable stay

  Plenty of space, lots of added touches and easy to access the accommodation. Plenty of room for the dog and bikes we brought up. Lovely deck space we used frequently, equipped kitchen, lots of toys and books for kids and book lovers. Some items were a bit broken (kitchen cabinet and towel rack) but promptly looked into by Gippsland Lakes Escapes

  A perfect house for a family getaway including the dog. The house is quite old but owners have renovated nicely and updated the funiture. The kitchen has everything you need and good supply of staples in the pantry. There is also a good collection of books and games to keep everyone entertained. Being on an island it's easiest to drive into town as there's no direct way to walk although this wasn't a problem. My only criticism is that the mattresses on the beds are obviously quite old or cheap, replace these and you would get 5 stars for sure.

  No matter how long a stay we book, it is never long enough for our family get aways to the Tanjil. From our first visit 4 years ago, to our last trip only a week ago, we have found the Tanjil just ticks all our boxes. Our big family can chill and relax while all ages and stages are catered for...That even includes the pups.
