  Gippsland Lake Escapes was a wonderful place for our weekend away to Raymond Island. It was a beautiful house along the beach with a great view from the balcony and great amenities. It was also children friendly with lots of games, a full kitchen and fresh bread onarrival. I would love to stay with them again!

  A fabulous property, 2kms from the ferry on Raymond Island, with expansive views across the lakes to Mount Buffalo. Lots of Koalas and Kangaroos in the surrounding bush, and with 2 kayaks supplied you can explore the shoreline of the island, or paddle across to Paynesville and explore it's canals.

  We had a wonderful time at the waterfront sanctuary. It was a lovely home with fantastic waterfront views. The home was clean and had plenty of space. It was great that it was dog friendly as well. Loved having the two kayaks there to use as well. Would definitely recommend.
  
  The only improvements would be providing more toilet paper, garbage bags, and dishwasher tablets to cover the duration of the stay (given the price you pay per night). Having some fans for the bedrooms would be nice as well for the hot evenings while sleeping.

  cupboard door handles loose, dirty hand marks on some inside doors, cobwebs inside and out, partially unvacuumed, large hole in main bedroom fly wire that's tacked on, something sticky on main dinning table, toilet seat loose in main bathroom, food stains in utensils draw, front gate doesn't close properly and latch doesn't work (pet friendly???), the deck is in discusting state with nails sticking up and bits of timber split and sticking up, rusty nails sticking out of three deck posts, cook top 'pizzo' ignitions not all working, microwave oven loose and pushed back and door doesn't open properly

  Clean, very well appointed and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could need on your stay, the only thing we brought was an espresso coffee machine. Plenty of games and outdoor activities to keep us entertained, as well as great CDs, art and book collection. The house is freshly painted with comfy beds and nice linen. The woodfire was a bonus on a wintery night. Lots of space, beautiful views from both the front and back deck, and wildlife at our doorstep. We'll be back!
