  The property was exactly as advertised, clean and well-maintained. The check in/out process was very smooth and customer friendly. Regarding activities and attractions offered by Raymond Island, everything was in line with the expected full immersion in an outstanding natural context. The only note is the absolute absence of shops in the island. Maybe a coffee shop or a small grocery would improve the overall experience.

  Very comfortable modern refurbished home accurately described in listing. Lovely quiet location with back yard backing onto reserve. Had a visit from a pair of roos passing through the back garden to the front. Very special. Property securely fenced for our dog who constantly kept lookout for rabbits. However, our 4 night stay was spoilt by the influx of mosquitoes. Upon check-in we had to manually remove them as there was no insect repellent provided so we had to make this our first shop purchase the following day! They also made it unpleasant to sit outside in the garden.

  This house has been freshly renovated and fitted out. Good points, the renovation, the rear outlook, the big TV. We found the bed very firm and there was nowhere near enough cutlery and no baking dishes.

  My family loves the tranquility and unspoiled natural environment of Raymond Island, and have visited it for several years. We always book our accommodation through Gippsland Lake Escapes, and have never been disappointed with the quality of the various houses we have stayed in on the island.
  This time we spent a long Easter weekend at Koalas Song, a very nice renovated house in a quiet back street backing on to bushland and fields, and only 5 minutes walk to the ferry across to Paynesville. The weather was chilly but the wood burning stove kept us nice and warm.
