  Our stay at Parson Flat River Barn was an incredible retreat into nature's embrace. The accommodation, almost new and impeccably clean, blended modern comfort with rustic charm. The gentle sound of the nearby river was a soothing backdrop, enhancing our peaceful nights. We were delighted to borrow fishing gear from the friendly host and spent enjoyable hours trout fishing just steps away.
  
  The highlight of chilly evenings was the barn's log fire, not only warming us but also doubling as a practical stove for cooking meals and boiling water. All essentials were provided, including fresh sheets and towels. Outside, the fire pit offered a perfect setting for grilling under the stars, with frequent deer sightings adding to the enchanting atmosphere.
  
  The journey to Parson Flat involved navigating winding roads, rewarding us with breathtaking scenery. For provisions, stocking up in Bairnsdale proved economical, while the Dargo store came in handy for emergency items. Dining at the Dargo pub was a delight, offering hearty meals and a cozy ambiance beside a crackling fire.

  Absolute charm! This is a very clean, super comfy beautiful barn stay. Top quality amenities, everything you could possibly need, bring your own food and cook up a storm or dine in town at the local pub or Inn.
